IP Stream Novation Win

June 2011

Waveworks have sucessfully completed the novation of a data network consisting of over 600 remote sites with ethernet services into their HQ and DR sites.

The incumbent network was based on BT's IP Stream product that is reaching its end-of-life and limited in the amount of bandwidth available on the remote tails. As this service no longer delivered the scalability that the customer required they took the decision to consider outsourcing the whole network to a provider that could deliver:

  • A seamless migration from their current infrastructure.
  • Implement a scalable network to support current and future IT services and applications.
  • New 100Mb multi-service host pipes into the HQ and DR sites that allows the HQ and DR site to communicate if required.
  • Flexible bandwidth profiles to accommodate network requirements.
  • Remote site connection upgrades up to 20Mb.
  • Resilient RADIUS platform.

The network has been succesfully novated onto Waveworks' resilient Next Generation SecureWAN IP VPN network without any disruption to the client's business. Following the move the client now has access to a variety of services and bandwidths that can be selected to suit individual sites for today's needs with the comfort of knowing that as their needs change Waveworks can provide a suitable service.
