How does Managed IP Stream work?
Managed IP Stream is built on BT’s IP Stream product. All end-users are connected via ADSL or SDSL connections to a private DSL network and routed down a central pipe (fibre connection) directly into the customer’s head office and terminated on a managed Cisco gateway router.
The routed traffic does not pass over the Internet and is on a privately managed network at all times. Internet access can be provided to all of your sites if required.
Network Management
We install and remotely manage RADIUS and DNS servers at your head office, plus a management server and communications link for our Network Operations Centre to continually monitor the central pipe for bandwidth and network performance.
Our Customer Services team manages the provision, migrations and cancellation of DSL tails and the ordering of PSTN lines.
End-user Support
Our engineers install (optional) and remotely support all end-user routers and provide pre-configured replacements in the unlikely event of a failure.
A support desk telephone number is made available for either 1st line support to the end-user or 2nd line support to the customer’s internal help desk.
