At the heart of the secure data network is a hybrid MPLS - ADSL solution that utilises a core MPLS backbone for large fixed sites and a flexible high speed DSL network for project site connectivity. The customer is presented with a ‘shopping list’ of connectivity options that allows them to select the most appropriate level of connectivity for each location. This flexible ‘plug and play’ design is made up of a number of tailored services that together form a single converged network.

Rapid Site Deployment

Speed of delivery is a critical measurement of an ICT department within a construction company. Often the last to know of a project win, the expectation on them to deliver services quickly and efficiently is a never ending battle. Waveworks have designed a delivery template that provides the customer with a single team to manage all their voice and data orders.

A four stage delivery process allows sites to be operational with mobile connectivity within 5 - 10 working days, significantly less than the standard industry lead time.

• Stage 1 – Rapid deployment of integrated 3G router

• Stage 3 – Deployment of data services (DSL/MPLS)

Management

Waveworks provide a fully managed service through a centralised platform allowing the customer to deal directly with specialist teams that understand their business for all incident and order management elements.

The data network is proactively supported with real-time monitoring and a 7 day a week technical support helpdesk. Customers will have access to a web portal to view live network statistics and availability of their sites. A monthly service report is also produced detailing Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement statistics. Waveworks operate under strict SLA targets for both delivery of services and network support with a quarterly service review meetings to assess performance and identify future areas for development.
